“We are very happy about this important milestone for ACE Power and the profound impact their collaboration with OGEO will have on advancing the energy transition in Australia and contributing to global sustainability efforts. This partnership underscores our shared mission to drive the shift towards a greener future.”

Pelion Green Future’s development partner ACE Power signed a Joint Development Agreement with OEGO, the clean energy arm of the Japanese energy giant Osaka Gas to develop solar and battery projects with a total capacity of more than 500 MW in Australia.
ACE Power has entered into a strategic partnership with OGEO, a subsidiary of Osaka Gas, a leading global gas and power company to jointly develop a portfolio of utility-scale solar and battery projects with a total capacity of more than 500MW spinning across New South Wales and Queensland, Australia.
The joint development activities, known as Project Genesis, will initially prioritize the development of the solar and storage portfolio. Furthermore, the agreement allows both ACE Power and OGEO to incorporate additional projects into their development pipeline, fostering the growth of sustainable energy infrastructure in Australia.
“We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with OGEO, which is an exciting milestone for ACE Power. This partnership underscores ACE’s long-term commitment to working alongside local communities in these key regions of Queensland and New South Wales. We look forward to developing these projects with OGEO and bringing them towards construction, whilst contributing to both OGEO’s and Australia’s net zero targets.” said Andy Scullion, Founder and Managing Director of ACE.
